SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT MANAGER

TASKS FOR THIS ROLE

  • Create content calendars

  • Research content ideas

  • Research hashtags

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, annual recap and analytic reports

  • Create graphics and reels based on client brand and style guidelines

  • Create posts from client photos and videos (provided)

  • Maintain content library and folders

  • Create Instagram posts and captions

  • Create Facebook posts and captions

  • Content schedule

    • 15-20 posts per month

    • 8 reels per month 

SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE

  • Self-initiative and high follow-through

  • Organized and efficient

  • Deadline driven

  • Pristine grammatical skills

  • Resourceful problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of platforms and scheduling programs

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Must maintain confidentiality (non-disclosure/client conflict agreement)

REQUIREMENTS FOR ROLE

  • Prior experience in a remote role

  • Prior content writing and design experience 

  • Portfolio and/or proven experience in social media and content creation

  • Deep knowledge of content marketing, content strategy, and writing best practices

  • Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously

  • Knowledge of analytics and reporting as applicable to content marketing (able to report and understand metrics related to website, email, and social media)

  • Experience with keyword research and implementing SEO best practices

  • Technically capable; excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes 

  • Previous experience developing content for events, hospitality, tourism, food/beverage and small business is a HUGE BONUS
